Transformative Living is an intentional practice. It is about the choices we make, based on our values and our level of self awareness of our intentions in each moment.
In this blog I plan to explore and add links and ideas I find websurfing, make my own comments, share insights, explore edges and challenges, celebrate successes and even mourn losses.
My hope and dream is to just share this journey with you and to have you share your journey with us (our community of blog readers).
So who am I? Well, as Thich Nhat Hahn says I am everyone…but, conventionally, I identify socially as a wife, mother, teacher, Focusing trainer & coach and Reiki Master. I have taught in adult education, corporate & community settings for over 15 years with adults and youth at risk. I love helping people bring their lives into balance, connect with their heart’s desires and live authentically. My passions are teaching & coaching in choice-full values-based living, compassionate communication, self-awareness & wellbeing practices based upon Focusing, Mindfulness, Meditaton, Nonviolent Communication, & Energy Medicine. These practices encourage people to directly inhabit their immediate experience with awareness, acceptance and insight.
Each of us has a sacred rhythm within our bodies that comes from our ancestry, birth and lving experiences. When we live unconsciously & without self—acceptance our sacred rhythm gets out of balance, leaving us feeling lost, burdened, angry and/or overwhelmed. However, embedded in every experience is the seed of own innate wisdom & intelligence and this means every emotional issue or difficulty provides its own kind of spiritual and learning opportunity.
When we integrate these wellbeing practices they complement and enhance one another. As we inquire into our bodily felt experience, and, as we learn to inhabit the flow of our felt experience, we begin to settle more deeply into the body healing and re-aligning our mind-body-heart & spirit. Thus our “feeling body” opens out into our “wisdom body.” When we live in sync with this rhythm we experience joy, peace and equanimity.

I like to find the right pace through matching and mirroring. I follow the rule of rapport before influence.
